Motorbike Transport Birmingham – Motorcycle, Scooter & E-Bike Delivery
Need a motorcycle moved without riding it to its destination? Adrian Man & Van provides flexible motorbike transport in Birmingham, across the West Midlands and to destinations throughout England and the UK.
We can collect motorcycles, scooters, mopeds and electric bikes from homes, private sellers, workplaces, garages and other suitable collection points. Our service can also help when a motorbike has broken down and cannot safely continue its journey.
A loading ramp and securing equipment are available, allowing us to plan motorcycle collections differently from an ordinary furniture or parcel move. Tell us exactly what bike you have, whether it runs and where it needs to go and we can assess the job before providing a quotation.
A Practical Way to Move a Motorbike
Door-to-door motorcycle transportation for local, regional and selected long-distance journeys.
Not every motorbike journey can be completed by riding the bike. Sometimes the safest and most practical solution is simply to load it into a suitable van and transport it.
Perhaps you have just bought a motorcycle from a private seller but have no practical way to collect it. Maybe a scooter has developed a mechanical fault. You may be relocating and want your motorbike transported together with some of your belongings, or perhaps you have purchased a project bike that is not currently roadworthy.
These are exactly the types of situations where our Motorbike Transport Birmingham service can help. We already operate a Birmingham-based Man and Van and removals service, so local and long-distance transport is part of our everyday work.
Our main service area includes Birmingham, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Halesowen, Oldbury, West Bromwich, Smethwick, Stourbridge, Coventry and the surrounding West Midlands. We can also travel considerably further when the journey makes practical and financial sense.
For very long single-motorcycle journeys, we prefer to be transparent: a specialist carrier transporting several motorcycles together may sometimes be able to offer a lower price. However, if you value a flexible collection, direct delivery and dedicated van journey, contact us and we will provide a quotation so you can compare your options.
See Us in Action
Whether you need to deliver an item round the corner or across the country, we‘ve got you covered.
Motorcycle transport starts with preparation. We need to understand what we are collecting before arriving, particularly when a bike is not running.
If possible, send photographs through WhatsApp together with the make and model, collection postcode, delivery postcode and preferred date. Tell us whether the motorcycle starts, whether it rolls normally and whether its steering operates correctly.
That information helps us determine whether the job is suitable and what will be needed at collection.
Motorbikes, Scooters, Mopeds & E-Bikes
Motorcycles
Standard road motorcycles, commuter bikes, touring motorcycles, sports bikes and many other conventional motorbikes can be considered for van transport.
Scooters
Scooters and motor scooters can be collected from private sellers, homes, garages and other accessible locations and transported to an agreed destination.
Broken Motorbikes
A bike does not necessarily need to run. If it can be safely moved and loaded, we may be able to transport it to a garage, home or another location.
Electric Bikes
E-bikes may also be transported. Please tell us about the battery before collection, particularly if it has been damaged, overheated, swollen or otherwise compromised.
Mopeds
Lightweight mopeds are particularly suitable for local and regional collections when customers do not have access to another suitable vehicle.
Bike Equipment
Subject to space, helmets, riding clothing, parts, tools, boxes and other motorcycle-related belongings can often travel with the bike.
Preparing Your Bike for Transport
A motorcycle cannot simply be treated like ordinary furniture. The bike must be loaded in a controlled way and positioned appropriately inside the vehicle.
We have a loading ramp and securing equipment available for suitable jobs. The exact loading method depends on the size and weight of the motorcycle, whether it is operational and the access available at the collection point.
When requesting a quote, tell us about any unusual circumstances: underground parking, steps, steep slopes, narrow gates, locked steering, flat tyres or a motorcycle that cannot roll.
The more information we receive before travelling to the collection, the easier it is to plan the job correctly.

Rushall Junction to Wolverhampton
A real West Midlands collection after a motorcycle developed a problem.
One of our previous motorbike jobs started close to Rushall Junction, beside the canal network, and finished in Wolverhampton.
A Broken Motorcycle Near the Canal
I was contacted after a motorcycle developed a problem close to Rushall Junction. The location was near the canal, in an area where you regularly see canal boats travelling through the Birmingham and Black Country waterways.
The motorcycle could not simply continue its journey normally, so the customer needed another way of getting it to Wolverhampton.
I travelled to the Rushall area, prepared the van and ramp, loaded the motorcycle and transported it to Wolverhampton.
It was a relatively simple transport job, but it demonstrates why having access to a suitable van can be extremely useful when something unexpected happens to a bike.
You may be many miles from home, the motorcycle may no longer be safe to ride, or you may simply need it delivered somewhere else. A dedicated collection can solve the problem without trying to force the bike to complete a journey it should not be making.
Our service is transportation rather than mechanical roadside assistance. We do not diagnose or repair motorcycle faults. Where appropriate, we can collect the bike and take it to an agreed home, garage, workshop or other suitable destination.
Transport for Many Types of Motorbike
The service is not limited to one manufacturer or style of motorcycle.
Brand names are used only as examples of motorcycles and scooters customers may need transported. Adrian Man & Van is an independent transport service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by these manufacturers.
Birmingham, West Midlands & Long-Distance Motorcycle Transport
Our strongest service area is Birmingham and the West Midlands, where dedicated motorcycle transportation can often make particularly good sense.
We are not limited to the West Midlands. Adrian Man & Van already undertakes long-distance removals across England and elsewhere in the UK, so we can also quote for motorcycles travelling to or from cities such as London, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield and other destinations.
Pricing naturally depends on distance. A bike travelling from Birmingham to Wolverhampton is a very different job from a dedicated collection several hundred miles away.
For a long-distance motorcycle-only job, send both postcodes first. We will tell you the price and you can decide whether a dedicated van is the right solution for your journey.
More Than Just Breakdown Collections
New Purchase Collection
Bought a motorcycle or scooter privately and need somebody to collect it and deliver it to your home? Send us both locations for a quote.
Moving House
If you are relocating, your motorcycle may need to travel separately or alongside other belongings, depending on the individual move.
Garage Transport
A non-running motorcycle may need transport between your home and a garage or workshop rather than traditional roadside repair.
Private Seller Collection
We can arrange collections from suitable private addresses when the seller and buyer have agreed the collection arrangements.
Project Bikes
Motorcycles purchased as restoration or project bikes may not be roadworthy and therefore often require van transportation.
Bike + Accessories
Subject to space, riding gear, helmets, boxes and spare parts can potentially be transported with the motorcycle.
How Is the Price Calculated?
There is no sensible single price for every motorcycle collection. The cost depends primarily on the distance between collection and delivery, the location of the van, the motorcycle itself and how straightforward the loading process will be.
Local West Midlands motorcycle transport will usually be more economical than sending a dedicated van hundreds of miles solely for one bike.
If your journey is particularly long, we will still quote where practical, but we prefer customers to compare the price and choose whichever transport option makes sense for them.
Fastest Way to Get a Price
Send us: both postcodes + motorcycle make/model + photograph + date + whether it runs.
That gives us enough information to assess most straightforward jobs without a long telephone conversation.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you transport a motorcycle that does not start?
Yes, many non-running bikes can be transported. Tell us beforehand whether it can roll and steer because this affects how the motorcycle can be loaded.
Do you have a motorcycle loading ramp?
Yes. We have a ramp available for suitable motorcycle, scooter and moped transport jobs.
Can you collect scooters and mopeds?
Yes. Scooters and mopeds can be transported subject to size, condition and safe loading access.
Do you transport electric bikes?
Yes, subject to condition. You must tell us if an e-bike battery is damaged, swollen, leaking, overheated or otherwise unsafe. A potentially dangerous damaged lithium battery may make transport unsuitable.
Can you transport a bike from a private seller?
Yes. If you have purchased a motorcycle privately, we can arrange collection where access and handover arrangements have been agreed.
Do you cover Walsall and Wolverhampton?
Yes. Walsall, Rushall, Wolverhampton and the wider West Midlands are within our regular working area.
Can you transport a motorbike long distance?
Yes, depending on availability and route. We operate throughout England and can quote for longer UK journeys. Very long motorcycle-only journeys may not always be the most economical use of a dedicated van.
Can you transport my belongings with the motorcycle?
Potentially, yes. If this forms part of a larger move, tell us everything that needs transporting so that we can assess the available space and loading requirements.
What information should I send for a quote?
Send the collection postcode, delivery postcode, motorcycle make and model, photographs, preferred date and whether the motorcycle starts, rolls and steers normally.
Need Something Else Moved?
We also provide general local and long-distance removals.
Need Your Motorcycle Moved?
From a broken scooter in the West Midlands to a motorbike purchased from another city, send us the collection location, destination and bike details. We will assess the journey and let you know what transport option we can offer.
